Branding can be a make it or break it a moment for your potential customer. It makes your business stand out from the competition, gives it a unique personality, and makes your business memorable.

Creating a brand or even rebranding your business could be a huge load to take on.


Why is Branding Important?

Branding is your business’s identity. The iPhone is not just a smartphone it’s an “iPhone” People know it, embrace it, and sometimes become emotionally attached to it. According to a Neilsen survey, almost 60% of shoppers said they actively buy from brands they know, and 21% said they bought a product because they liked the brand.


Purpose/Goal: First, determine what the purpose and mission of your brand is. What would you like people to take away from your brand? Are you trying to reach a specific goal with your brand?

Audience: Next, determine who you are trying to reach. How old are your customers? Where do they live? What do they like to do? What do they like about your competitors? What do they need? What do they want? What do they care about?


Create a Visual Identity: Here is where your creative colleagues come into play. What are the best colors for your brand? Create a brand logo that speaks to your purpose and goal. What type of font and imagery will you use for your brand? The visuals should be consistent and go hand in hand with the feel and purpose of the brand.


Launch Your Brand: Now that you have everything created its time to launch your new brand or rebrand. What are your digital elements? Your website should be the home base of your brand on digital, but you also want digital tools to link back to your website. These can include social media videos and sharable web content.
